The BAR Conference 2022 in Jersey goes off with a bang! After the Covid pandemic led to cancelled conferences, the BAR was delighted to host their conference in Jersey. Glorious sunshine welcomed delegates to the three-day conference based at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel.
Over the course of the weekend delegates were able to take advantage of a host of useful workers and first-rate speakers. The opening social event of the conference was clay pigeon shooting competition at the Lecq Clay Target Club in the north-west of the island. The shooting took place against the island’s coastline, bathed in glorious sunshine!
The fireworks on the Friday night at the iconic venue of the Lido were a highlight, and all social events were well attended. From the International Visitors lunch at the Anchor club in St. Aubin’s Bay, to the Gala dinner on the Saturday. Overall, the conference was a great success and with overwhelmingly positive feedback from delegates.
