Keith Beecham

Tourism ambassador

“Jersey offers a diverse event space where the unique combination of land, coast, beach and sea provide immersive and authentic event experiences. We’ve got a really strong MICE infrastructure in place, so we are confident the island is well placed to welcome events.”

Keith leads the team at Visit Jersey with the vision to help the world fall in love with Jersey.  The mission is to deliver the vision of a vibrant sustainable tourism industry in Jersey, whose value to the economy and community at large is recognised.

With over 25 years of experience in tourism, after graduating, Keith spent two years in Japan teaching English. On returning to Britain he completed an MBA in 1982 at Bradford University which led to a stint at an American investment bank in London. He joined the British Tourist Authority in 1990 (later known as Visit Britain), where he was involved in various assignments based in London, Tokyo and Hong Kong. He rose to become Director of Global Business, before a stint as interim CEO of Visit Britain. He assumed the CEO role at the newly formed Visit Jersey in March 2015.
